Vidhana Soudha
A building to see and marvel is the Vidhana Soudha, considered to be among the most imposing building of India as a whole. It is a mixture of modern and neo-Dravidian architectural style.The architecture is breathtaking as it consists of wonderfully carved pillars, bases, pediments, cornices, arches etc. The best part is the huge and wide grand stairs of 45 steps which lies at its front. 
 

High Court of Karnataka
The Karnataka High Court (Attara Kacheri) is situated in Bangalore. It is a breathtaking red brick and stone building and employs the Greco-Roman (neo-classical) architecture style. Its construction was supervised by Mudaliar and completed by 1868. Earlier named as Old Public Offices and now named as Attara Kacheri, meaning eighteen departments.

Brigade Road
Among the best places to go for shopping or window shopping is the Brigade Road, among the busiest and largest commercial places of Bangalore and lies between two major roads, Residency Road and MG Road. It has numerous shops and retail outlets of domestic and international brands. It has clubs, pubs, discos and other hip hop places. Every year, New Year is celebrated with pomp and show here.

Lake / Ulsoor Lake
Lakes (or “tanks”) are other beauty spots of Bangalore and are man made ones constructed in 16th century through bunds as no close by rivers exists. Presently, only 17 remain, considering the healthy and good ones, out of the previous 51 lakes. The remaining lakes have been encroached and converted into colonies etc. as part of Urban Development. These lakes have fresh water and have a varied range of fauna and flora.
